What is eVerified.us?

A simple way to prove that an email is real — like a seal of authenticity on a letter.

The Problem

Every day, scammers send fake emails pretending to be real companies. They copy logos, use similar email addresses, and trick people into clicking bad links or sending money.

Think of it like this

Imagine getting a letter that looks like it's from your bank, with their logo and everything — but it's actually from a scammer. You'd have no way to know. That's the email problem today.

The Solution

eVerified adds a small, clickable badge to every email a company sends. When you click it, you instantly see whether the email is real.

Step 1

Company sends you an email

Just a normal email — an invoice, a notification, a receipt. But it now has a small verification badge at the bottom.

Step 2

You click the badge

Clicking the badge opens a secure page on eVerified.us. No account needed, no app to install — just one click.

Step 3

You see if it's real

Instantly see a green checkmark (it's verified!), a yellow warning (be careful), or a red alert (it's suspicious). That's it.

What the Colors Mean

Think of them like traffic lights for email.

Green — Verified & Trusted

This email is real and came from a location the sender has approved. It's safe.

Yellow — Real, But Be Careful

The email is verified, but it was sent from a new or unusual location. It's probably fine, but double-check if anything seems off.

Red — Suspicious

Something doesn't look right. The email might be real, but the system flagged it. Don't click links or share personal info until you've confirmed with the sender directly.

How Location Makes It Safer

eVerified knows where emails are sent from. When a company always sends emails from New York but suddenly one comes from overseas — that's a red flag.

Sender Location

Companies register the locations they normally send from. If an email comes from somewhere new, you'll see a warning.

PIN Protection

Senders use a secret 6-digit PIN to approve their locations — like a password, so only they can do it.

Common Questions

Do I need an account to check an email?

No. Just click the badge in the email — it works instantly, no sign-up needed.

Is this only for big companies?

No. Any business that uses Microsoft 365 can set it up. It takes about 15 minutes.

What does it cost the person receiving the email?

Nothing. It's completely free to verify an email. Only the sending company pays a small fee.

Can scammers fake the badge?

No. Each badge has a unique code tied to the real email. A fake badge would fail verification and show a red alert.

What if I see a yellow or red badge?

Don't panic. Yellow means "proceed with caution" — the email is real but sent from an unusual place. Red means the system found something suspicious — contact the sender directly before acting on the email.

The Simplest Way to Think About It

Imagine every physical letter you receive has a wax seal from the sender. You can look at the seal and instantly know if the letter was really from them or if someone tampered with it.

eVerified is that wax seal — but for email.
